Our Story

Al-Jamia Medical Centre opened its doors on 2nd October 2023 with a clear mission: to bring essential diagnostic and clinical services closer to the people of Eastern Uganda. Before our founding, many residents had to travel across the border or long distances within the country to access reliable healthcare.
We set out to change that. Backed by a passionate medical team and equipped with modern diagnostic technology, we’re here to serve with integrity, compassion, and excellence. From outpatient services to antenatal care, every service we offer is designed to make healthcare more accessible, safe, and responsive to the real needs of the community.

Our premises are fully monitored with round-the-clock CCTV coverage to ensure a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Modern Diagnostic Equipment
We use cutting-edge medical tools like digital X-ray, ultrasound with vaginal probe, and lab analyzers to provide accurate diagnostics with minimal wait time.
Onsite Laboratory
Our fully equipped lab performs essential tests on-site, enabling quicker diagnosis and treatment decisions without referral delays.
Maternity Wing
We offer dedicated antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care in a supportive, private, and well-equipped environment.
Outpatient & Inpatient Units
Our facility provides both walk-in consultations and short-term admissions, designed for comfort, privacy, and efficient care.
Surgical Theatre (Coming Soon)
We are in the final stages of setting up a fully equipped theatre to handle surgical procedures without needing off-site referrals.
